Cartagena under full Cartel Control

Somewhere in Columbia

I have managed to stay safe with the help of some local people who abhor the Cartel, and have learned that the city of Cartagena is now under complete Cartel control. From what people here are saying, the Government does want to risk another assault of Cartagena, as they just don’t have the skilled manpower required.

I have also learned that the Cartel wants this city very bad, as it is not far from their hidden drug fields and processing facility. Thanks to some of the locals, I believe both locations to be close together, and in a specific area in the Jungle not too far from Cartagena. I have asked around and a few brave people have offered to take me into the Jungle to try to locate these secret locations.

Since the journey will be on foot and will take a while, I may not get a chance to send a report for some time. If we manage to find these locations, I will use my portable GPS to get the coordinates to the Columbian Government. My hope is that we can close enough without being caught, and if discovered, my status as an unarmed journalist may keep me alive.
