This very highly praised award is issued once a year to the Officer that by his/her dedication, integrity, conduct, constant leadership and outstanding general activity brought the most to the GNSF organization. Candidates are chosen by the way of a secret vote cast by all GNSF Officers and a strict evaluation by the upper Chain of Command (DCNO, CNO and FADM) of the best 4 candidates. Final decision by the upper CoC must be unanimous for the recipient. This award can be recieved only once. If a given year, no Officer meets the strict criteriae and really stands out, the award is simply waved for that particular year.
Please note that this award will only be awarded to an OFFICER who holds a staff office possition, and who's contributions to the GNSF organization stands out above all others. This IS NOT an award for a buddy because he plays with and helps with game issues. This award is about services to the organization, and those contributions that make GNSF what it is today.
Please remember when casting a vote, the award will be issued to that one special officer for all he has given in the year. For the COC to properly evaluate the votes, you MUST supply valid reasons for your vote. If a reason isnt supplied then we have nothing to base the votes merrit on, and it will be ignored. Voting is a very important way to make known to the COC those above and beyond things we may not always see. This is your chance to stand up and show your support for the officer YOU think stands above all others.
