I would like to welcome all GNSF Officers and Cadets to the 2010 Season opening. Hope all of you had a great summer and plenty of time to rest during this well deserve summer break (1st time in 10 years for some of us in HQ). Fall will bring a few surprises, so this is time to get back to the grinder and get ready for battle. So, let me open this season in good spirit. It gives me great pleasure to award VADM Sparks with the GNSF Order of Merit, our second highest decoration next only to the Medal of Honor, for a long and outstanding career as a Staff Officer. It is because of the back stage work of fine Officers like VADM Sparks that GNSF is what it is today and we are able to offer you the best. Congratulations, Sir. See you all on Wednesday night!
